3 Ineffective Ab Exercises
Many people do not know how to
really take advantage of your ab workouts for great results.
But even worse many like to use the ab machines at the gym or
buy ab equipment from the countless informercials. Here are 3
ab exercises you should stay away from if you want to get six
pack abs faster.
1)
Ab Crunches on the
Floor. The old school way of doing
crunches just does not cut it. I remember my friends used
to do hundreds of these every day and brag about who can
do the most. But the fact is that it does more harm than
good.
By doing a ton of these
crunches on the floor you are not targeting your abs. You are
straining your back and neck instead. Ab exercises should not
be done every day either. If you were to do real exercises that
target your abs then you would not even want to do them the
next day because you will be too sore.
2)
Using an Ab
Lounger. These are just about as bad as floor
crunches since they have some strain on your back and
neck. But there some ab equipment that is not that harsh.
But either way it is not worth the money since you really
do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on something
like that.
The other thing is that when
you use a ab machine you are not getting a lot of isolation.
You could be doing more effective ab exercises that stimulate
your muscles and work them harder.
3)
Ab Crunches on a
Bench. Just like doing crunches on a
bench you do not have a lot of range to really target
your abs and work them hard. It does not matter if you do
them a declined bench or use weights you will not be able
to work that work them that hard.
